Loose Lead Walking Workshop

Saturday 1:30pm

Location - Jacksons Lane, Mapledurham, RG4 7TN

COST £45

Does your dog pull you down the road when you take them out? Is it making walking difficult, or even unpleasant for you?

We've all been there, trust me. Dogs have a much faster natural walking pace than us humans do, so its only natural that they are going to pull ahead. Add in some exciting sights, smells and squirrels, and we find ourselves being pulled from pillar to post!

This 90-minute workshop will cover techniques to help show your dog that focussing more on you, and walking at your pace without tension in the lead can be just as rewarding as chasing those pesky squirrels they can see!

Let us help you to make walking your dog a pleasant experience, rather than a chore!

Recall - the most important skill you can teach your dog. Having a dog that reliably comes back to you every time you call makes walking a pleasant rather than a stressful experience.

This dog training workshop is aimed at dogs and their humans that find "getting together" on walks a little bit challenging (as there is always another dog or a squirrel that is just a little bit more interesting).

If you want to build foundations of a strong recall or improve on your previous training - this workshop is for you!

Introduction to Gundog Training

Divider

Saturday 1:30pm

Location - Jacksons Lane, Mapledurham, RG4 7TN

COST £45

Do you have a Gundog that you are looking to do more with?

If so, this workshop is for you and will give you a taster of the types of activity your dog was born to do - literally!

Gundogs are some of the most common breeds we have in our homes. As working dogs they have been bred to fulfil a specific function and if we don't give them a job to do, they are likely to go 'self-employed', and we may not like the outcome!

This workshop is designed for anyone with a Gundog of any age or type - Spaniels, Labs/Retrievers, Pointers, Vizslas, including crossbreeds such as Cockapoos, Labradoodles and Springadors! All are welcome!

Learn the basics of heel work, sit-stay with distractions, and how to start teaching your dog to retrieve. Held in our 15-acre secured field, complete with natural distractions that you and your dog will be faced with in the real world; pheasants, the smell of other wildlife, and of course other dogs and their hoomans!

Workshops available throughout the year - click the link below to book onto our next date!
